Made it to Virginia last night! The drive up I-85 was so beautiful. It reminded me of an October day in Texas.
We had a smooth ride until we arrived outside of Arlington, VA. The roads were plowed, but only in the right and left lanes...oh and where we were driving--on the shoulder. Thankfully, people stayed away from one another and didn't get too crazy on the road.
It's Monday and we are relaxing with Jamie's sister and her boyfriend. Heading out for sushi at Sweet Ginger later tonight.
Continuing on to NY for the last part of the road trip on Tuesday afternoon--just before we get an additional 3-8 inches of snow.
